As the next day shone on Naledi's and Tiro's face, they slowly wake up.Naledi thought about her future and what lies ahead of her.She was so kind that the whole village knew her by now.She also studied to be a doctor by reading books about helping doctors.As the years passed she grew stronger and smarter,in those few years she thought about what Grace told her,freedom.She and Tiro tried to make a crew but whoever they ask shivers in fright.

DeleteBecause Naledi said that she wants to be a doctor when she grows up I predict that she will be educated so well that she will become a doctor and will make a big change to people's life and will also fight for freedom.I think that if rasicm stops when she grows up she will be the first black woman whom will ever built a hospital for ill pacients.Predict that in her hospital there will obviously not be a doctor for whites and a doctors for blacks.I also predict that she will help her family to have jobs and money so that they will not suffer because of things like poverty and food.I think that Naledi will see grace and repay her for all she done. In journey to jo'burg part 2 I don't think that there will be a lot of crime and mischievous problems.
ReplyDeleteNaledi was just helping another paciont before she went home to see tiro and Mma she was glad that the apartheid stopped because she gets to spend more time with her family. Naledi came home with a great surprise Mma,Tiro, Mmawange,Nono, Poleng,Grace and the boy from the orange farm was at their house. They were celebrating the fact that it has been 6 years since the apartheid stopped. Everywhere in South Africa had been celibrating. A few days later Mma,Dinio and Tiro including Naledi went to Jo burg to see all the non whites only signs burn life was a whole lot better.

ReplyDeleteAfter Naledis visit to jo'burg she decided to start a march for black life's this then became a company she made.Only at age 13 the company was big everyone in her village was aware of it.After a few months of it only being in her village she decided to take it to Soweto where grace was she asked grace and her brothers to help out when she was gone,grace was delighted to help as where her brothers.On Naledi's14th birthday she decided to make it more like a charity for black people,so she would help the baby's if she was sick for free, give food and drink to families and help people find jobs that don't just classify them as maids.One day she got a note from Grace it explained how her brother Donme had come home,Naledi was so happy for Grace as she read on it told her how he had only come home because he heard about the March and the business.The very next day she got a letter From her cousin Jo he worked for a very rich lady,she wasn't like the other madams she was kind and liked the idea of Naledis company.Then she started to send money to Naledi this happened yearly,monthly until on a daily basis she would send money to Naledi this then helped the company even more Naledi was able to buy people homes who never had homes.Unfortunetly Dineo became very ill and could no longer help out Naledi even though she had helped sick babies Dineos sick was even worse they had to send her to the doctors daily,until one day Dineo couldn't walk.They took her to the doctors and found out the heat had made her paralysed.

DeleteNaledi has hopes for Dineo,s future and she thinks Dineo is getting better and after all he won't die from his illness and she believes that Tiro will grow up to be a hard working man and he will not be someone's slave like their Mma was. Naledi dreams of being a doctor,helping sick people in need of help and care,she imagens herself in a long white coat with loads of tablets and all kind of medicines there are around her.
ReplyDeleteThe next day Naledi and Tiro started to miss Mma and wants her back and they need money.Tiro and Naledi are on their way to school when they see 3 kids walk up to them and said"Hey you!What are you doing here this is our school watch out. Tiro and Naledi were really shocked they did not know what they did Naledi said"Don't worry Tiro there just bullies next time they do it were will tell the teacher that they are trying to bullie us and they are telling us to leave this school "But I don't want to leave this school and I want to tell the teacher now"Don't worry Tiro we will soon but not now they might beat us up just be pacient and don't worry.
As Naledi is on the hospital she's thinking about the people around because some babies are dying around her but she still beliving that he's gonna do something special in his life,that nobody thought he was going to but right after the doctor comes up saying to leave this and come Back in 3 days for information.After that Naledi was absolutely fourius that she couldn't see Dino for 3 days.She couldn't eat,she couldn't eat and even talk to somebody until... Today was the day that they had to go and see Dino in the Hospital but in there journey Naledi thinking of being Dino's doctor or just be a doctor when she's older and helping people's life from all around her and being one the best of the best
ReplyDeleteThe following day Naledi and Tiro went to school hoping to become friends with the older people. The meeting with the older students was great as they became friends. One older boy suggested that they should do a march and fight for freedom at South Africa, it was great as everyone in the village agreed to do the march. The next morning Mmawange took Dineo to the hospital so the doctor could check if her fever got better, meanwhile Naledi and Tiro was helping Nono do the dishes and helping make the tea. After having a rough day Naledi and Tiro finally went to sleep. The next morning was a very sad one. Mmawange had died when she was sleeping. When they arrived at school the older boys came up to them. They said "What are you doing! Stealing our friends you little kids can't even defend yourselves!!!" Naledi and Tiro looked more miserable than before.

ReplyDeleteI think that Naledi will follow in Graces's footsteps because at the end of the chapter named "Hope" Naledi thinks about becoming a Doctor.When Naledi is older she will probably go study in other country's, then she will come back to Johannesburg and fight for freedom.

Neledi is now 20 years old and tiro is now 14 neledi is a doctor and doesn't want to be treated like a garbige can any more and will try to help Grace fight for freedom?
naledi wanted to see mma for baby dinoe so she can go to the hospital.

ReplyDeletethe hospital the hospital told dineo family that she had to eat vegtable and
milk to keep her healthy but mma looked shocked beacause she didn't know were
she was going to get all of this money from so mma quited her job and all the
money she had was to make sure dineo feels better agin when we came back we
saw dineo come back to the house she was felling better but she was kind of
week when they got to the hospital nadeli said she wanted to become a
docter when she is older and then mma got the the money for nadeli and tiro
to go school to get an edicaition.
I find beverley naidoos books very intresting because when I am reading the other side of truth,journey to jo'burg and other of her fantastic. Stories it feels like I can see the images in my head while I am reading the book and I think that beverley Naidoo and Jacqueline Wilson is one of my favourite aulthers.
