Sure, I eat people's grandmothers once in a while, but that doesn't make me a bad person ... it makes me a good villain.
Without a good villain, there wouldn't be any good fairytales.
Who are your favourite villains from fairytales? (Describe their appearance and character.)
Why are they so important to that particular story?
How would the stories be different if the baddies weren't there?
my favourite villain is snow whites mother and her appearance is like snow white and they're important so they're tricked and if the baddies weren't there its a good story because their not there.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with you because without a baddy it would not really be a story because there is no problem in the story.
DeleteHi miss williams I am from year3red my favourite villain is evil queen because I like her powers.
ReplyDeleteWhich fairytale is the evil queen from?
DeleteIn my opinion i think that Cinderella's stepmom is my favorite villain,i think this because she really teaches us a lesson. The lesson is that if you are evil you will never get something you want.I think that the evil stepmother is important in this story because she produces the evilness and does her job to be evil so that a lesson will be taught to us.I think that this story would be a regular princess story if the witch wasn't there.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite fairytale story Villians is the witch from the Wizard of Oz because the Witch use to be good until she got angry and morphed into a horrific Witch.
ReplyDeletea fairytale needs a good villain, because without one, there would be no problem to solve. a problem is like the adventure in the story. for example, in little red riding hood, the wolf was trying to eat the girl and her grandma (the problem) without the wolf, it would just be a girl going to her grandmas.
ReplyDeleteWithout a good villain the fairy tale would lack excitement. There wont be a sense of danger and the story would just be boring. For example in the story Hansel and Gretel, it is the witch and the step mother that makes it interesting and engaging.
ReplyDeleteHow do they make it interesting and engaging Amisha?
DeleteThis is because a villain causes a problem or/is the problem and adds tense to make children want to learn more. But also when we had to read to the year 2 they only liked when the villain caused a problem and the heroes had to solve it. We even had to engage them more to make sure they were listening and enjoying the story. So that shows that we really need a villain to engage children.
Delete1. Without a villain there won't be a superhero to save the world. It would be a boring tale without danger, action or excitement. For example, without the Joker, there would be no need for Batman. Together, they both add excitement and Batman gets to save people.
ReplyDeleteI agree Radeah, the villains give the superheroes a purpose and make them likeable characters.
DeleteMy favorite baddie is the wicked stepmother from Cinderella. Although she pretends to be kind, she later showed her true colors and made Cinderella do all the house chores. With her, you will feel sorry for Cinderella. Also she is a bad person because although Cinderella has her own bedroom she locked her up in the dark and cold basement and made her two UGLY DAUGHTERS take over her bedroom and they turned it into a big dirty bin. Without the wicked stepmother it would just be a little girl who lost her parents and it wouldn't be interesting.
ReplyDeleteWell done adeline I agree that the step mother ( in Cinderella ) is a good villain Cinderella deserves better it should be both of the ugly sisters doing those chores.
DeleteIf there were no villains in the three little pigs it would not be interesting as it would just be the three little pigs making there houses and there would be no problem to solve and that means no adventure. My favorite villain is Hansel and Gretel's stepmother as in the beginning she acted nice and kind but after a short while she revealed her real self.
ReplyDeleteExcellent Lara however, who is the villain in the three little pigs? Can you describe the appearance and pearsonalty of Gretel's stepmother.
DeleteMy favorite villain is the stepmother from Snow White, because she thinks that she is the most beautiful woman in the world but she isn't. If she wasn't in the story it would be tedious, because the stepmother is a very important character in the story.
ReplyDeleteWell done Alejandra who is your favourite charcter in snowhite? Whoever it is describe their appearance and personallty.
Deletend personallty
My favorite villain would have to be the queen in Snow White because although she likes to rein the longest and also the prettiest lady in the kingdom she has a bad heart. The Queen's appearance is black hair bright blue eyes and wears the prettiest of clothing. The queen's personalty is kind and beautiful on the outside but on the inside she would have a dark heart. In some fairy tales there are bad villains, however if there wasn't any villains in any fairy tale then the stories wouldn't be engaging to the reader and will be a hard to understand the problem or the moral in the story.
ReplyDeleteI think some stories need villains as because in some stories there is no villain it would not be as good as it could be because a villain makes a problem that needs to be solved for example, Little red riding hood, If there was no wolf it would not sound exciting as it would only be a girl taking cake across the woods to her gran which is not a very good fairy tale for the person reading and that's why some stories need a villain.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite villain is the wolf from the Little Red Riding Hood because when he was following Little Red Riding Hood through the forest it took long until he could scare her but he kept on trying and it showed that he was really determined. He was a very important character because if he weren't there then the story wouldn't count as a fairy-tale any more because fairy tales always have a bad person in it who is evil or mean. Also it would be a little boring because Little Red Riding Hood would have just been walking and going to her Grandmother's house and just have came back safe and sound without any interesting and engaging parts happening.
ReplyDeleteUnquestionably,in my opinion, stories would lack excitement if villains weren't involved. For example, Batman is a superhero if there's no problem, the story would not make sense as superheros are supposed to save lives. Therefore an essential part of the story includes the Joker (the villain) if he wasn't there Batman would have no one to fight against.
ReplyDeleteGavin who is your favourite character? What is their part in the story/film?
DeleteI'm not sure? There are thousands of villains.
DeleteMY favorite villain is Maleficent in the movie Descendants because if she wasn't in the story, it would be boring. The part that shows you need a good villain is when she tells her daughter to get the fairy god mother's wand from a museum and that causes mayhem.
ReplyDeleteWithout a good villain, there wouldn't be any good fairytales because the villain makes a problem and if the villain wasn't in the story, there wouldn't be a problem to sort out. Also if the baddie wasn't in the story, the excitement would drop.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite villain is the big bad wolf from the Three Little Pigs. He is very determined to ruin the pigs' houses. He has grey fur all over himself, he has a big bushy tail, long pointy ears and big, round eyes. The wolf likes to follow the pigs around because he like to torture them.
The wolf is important because he creates a problem for the pigs to solve and the story gets more exciting. Also the wolf makes the reader think more.
The story would be quite dull without a baddie
My favourite villain is the big bad wolf from the three little pigs. If the big bad wolf wasn't there it would have just been the three pigs building houses and just sitting there with nothing to do. Every story should have a villain so it can entertain people so they don't get bored of the story and to show people every movement has a consequence.
ReplyDeleteI agree, because usually the villain is the main character. Also a fairy tale needs a villain because without one the good people in the story won't be able to get there things back like in Aladdin, Jasmine was able to get the lamp back.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite villain is Rumpelstiltskin because he is greedy and wants the queens baby.
Is there anything else baddies bring to a fairytale?
DeleteWith out a baddie there will also be no problem and without that problem there will be no surprises. The story will just be boring for example Snow White without the queen Snow White will just live with her father and stepmother and it will be a normal story.
DeleteMy favourite villain is the wicked witch from Wizard of Oz because she makes it more dangerous and tricky for Dorothy to get to the castle before she runs out of time. A villain makes fairy tales more exiting because they create problems and the goodies have to solve them and if there were no baddies it will be less adventurous and it will just be a ordinary story.
My favourite villain is the big bad wolf in the three little pigs. He's hairy and big. The big bad wolf likes to go round blowing houses down he mostly does it to the three little pigs who have now left their mothers house, and are going to live by themselves. without him in the story it would just be a group of pigs going to live by there self and there would not be that much of a moral.
ReplyDeleteWithout a villain in the stories there wouldn't be any interesting actions for example in the Three little pigs if there were no villain the story would be boring because nothing would happen.
ReplyDeleteIn fairy tales, for example in the little red riding hood, we learn that we shouldn't talk to strangers. But if there was no baddie like the wolf we won't learn the moral.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite villain is Captain Hook because he always gets chased by a crocodile and he likes to fight Peter Pan if he sees him. Captain Hook is very important because he makes the story interesting.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite villain is Hades from Disney Hercules because he always tries to hurt Hercules but he ends up failing.
ReplyDeleteIf there was no villain the story would be less exciting because he brings the drama to the story.
my favourite IS fairy tale 3little pigs and if the wolf wasn't there the pigs will have there own house and will be having a good day. The reason why I like this story is adventerus and I like adventure story and its got to do with construction
ReplyDeletemy favorite villain is Joker because he is important to the story.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite villain is the queen in Snow White. what makes her a baddie is that she tells one of her men who works for her to take Snow White into the forest and kill her and bring back her heart so the queen can put it in a little box. without the baddies the stories will be less exciting and the story wont engage the reader.
ReplyDeletemy favorite Villain is Cinderella's stepmother because she is posh and without her the story would be uninteresting.
ReplyDeleteIf in the fairy tail Hansel and Gretel there was no villain the story would not be exiting because the story would just be hansel and Gretel living happily with their mother and father but if there was a villain It would be exiting as there would be an adventure.
ReplyDeleteWithout a baddie there wouldn't be a moral as baddies in books make problems then the goodies solve the problem, then the moral tells you how to avoid the problem for example the in little red ridding hood she talks to a stranger (the wolf) and because of that he finds out where she lives and eats her grammar, the moral of that story is don't talk to strangers which helps you avoid the problem.
ReplyDeleteIf there was no baddie in a story it would lack excitement and not be as interesting as it would have no baddie to start a problem for example, Little red riding hood , It would be just a girl taking a basket to her grans.
ReplyDeletemy favort villan is reck it ralfi because he wanted to be a good guy but he relise that being a villan is inportont without him and it will be a boring world
ReplyDeleteIn the film malifacent she was good at first but In the middle of the story malifacent was bad but in the end she went back to normal
ReplyDeleteMy favourite baddie is the evil step mother because you will never think that your step mother could be evil
ReplyDeleteI know my favourite villain is the queen in snow white but I also have another favourite villain and that is the big bad wolf in little red riding hood.
ReplyDeleteI chose the big bad wolf to be my second favourite villain because he thinks that he is a nice wolf and that gobbling old grandmas is nothing but we don't think that's nothing do we, we think that is a horrible thing gobbling up grandmas but gues what wolfs don't think that they don't care about anyone but themselves.
What do you think?
I think that in fairy tales there is always a good person and a good villain but I think eventhough baddies don't about others. I think that in a fairy tale there should always be a villain because if there was no villain the story will be less exciting and the reader would not want to read it because there's nothing exciting happening and all the good characters in the story will just be getting up to their boring old lives like for example: If I was little red riding hood all I will be doing is going to my grandmas house and nothing exciting is going to happen so that's why I think that in every fairytale there should always be a good villain.
ReplyDeleteIf I were a Villain I will be the big bad wolf because if you see a wolf on the road or something you should go near it or go near there sight 'because if you go near them the can easyly kill you with one swipe of his paw and eat you in one go, but if I was really a wolf I won't try to eat grandmas or any human bean I will just be able to let a human walk past and I won't eat but this is a big but if I am really hungry and I see someone walk past me I will just have to eat you I have know choice so that is why if I am a villain I want to Be the big bad wolf.
ReplyDeleteevery fairy tale has 3 main things : moral goodie and baddie . these three main things make every fairy tale interesting .without them we wouldn't be able to :
ReplyDelete.learn a lesson (moral)
.the story would be boring
. But also children will stop reading and they wouldn't be able to read as well
I agree Nana nevertheless, some fairy tales dont have baddies most of them tend to be boring well you can't judge a book by its cover.
DeleteI love the good people in farytales because when the baddie causes the problem and the good people always has to solve the problem and put the baddie in its place, like for example cinderella there are three villains in that story and that is the step mother and the two horrible step sister and they are obviously jelious of a cinderella buety and wants to get her out of there sight and I think that is wrong because even if you are a step sister or not you should still love them.
ReplyDeleteMy favorouite villain is Captain Hook because he is so determined to defeat Peter Pan. The reason why they are so important is because if there were no bad characters there will be no good characters so it will just be a boring story.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite villain is the joker because it makes batman look funny but a little bit scary and he isn't that bad villain kind of any way he is more of a reavenge guy I will kill you batman and I will take over the world MWHAHAH... Not joker but he is nicer than the rest tho
ReplyDeleteMy favourite villain is the evil queen because she has powers and she is really evil.
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of characters of villain like Cinderella's stepmother , captain hook, joker from batman, maleficent, evil queen, jafar ,wiked witch and lotso from toy story
ReplyDeleteIf I could make a villain and chose the setting of a it! It will be like this: this villain is a doll and it lives in the wood and whenever a human walked into the forest the doll will jump out and dig it's teeth into you and then you will become a horrible villain
ReplyDeleteGreat work Jomoya I really like the way you said that batman looked funny when he is beaten by the joker.
ReplyDeleteI agree amarnie I also very like how she said that batman looked funny when he is beaten by the joker.
DeleteI think that if you only eating grandmas one in a while that still makes you a bad person because you are still eating humans and eating humans that means you are a very bad person or animal.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to have a bad villain because if they wasn't there it will be boring. And villains in fairytale are good and they entertain people.
ReplyDeleteExcellent Tamiea. Who is your favorite villain?
DeleteI think even though villains are really bad and they don't care about any one but themselves I think that there should always be a baddie in a fairytale because if there is no baddie in a fairy tale then the story will be less interesting and th reader who is reading it will think that it is boring and wouldn't want to read it any more.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite villains is the evil witch from snow white. Because I liked how she was the most baddest person in that story. Also i liked how she tricked snow white so that she can eat that devil apple. I liked how she kind of covered her self and part of her face and speaking like a old laddy so she knows that she is not an evil witch.
ReplyDeleteIn a story there has to always be a villain so there's a problem and they have to fix.
ReplyDeleteI.f there wasn't no villains the story wouldn't be exciting and dangerous it because there has to be an adventure so that children want to hear more if you added ellipses they would want to hear more.
ReplyDeleteWell done Savannah i do agree however, What will make a story with a good villain amazing?
DeleteI like the big bad wolf becuase he is the bad character and he eats the Grandmother.
ReplyDeleteMy brother favourite super villain is voodoo from princess and the frog he can do a lot of tricks and can speak to the shadow manes and when the shadow manes drag their shadow and they get dragged.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite villain is the Stepmother from Snow White but i also have abother one that is the wolf from red riding hood because he think that eat grandmas and pigs is nothing but we dont think the same i think that if the wolf from Red ridin hood wasn't there the story just would be boring.
ReplyDeletewith out bad villains in fairy tail nobody would not read them like the three little pigs and there was no bad villains they just have to build there own house and its just normal and is not even exiting.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite baddie is the big bad wolf because without him there would be no problems to solve.
ReplyDeleteI find the Princess and the Pea boring because there are no baddies. There are no dramatic or engaging parts in the story.Although I find it boring I like the idea of testing if they are Royal by placing a pea under the mattresses.
ReplyDeleteI dont understand that theory either,Rquayya, I don't see how putting a pea under multiple mattresses and if they feel it they're royal, if not they aren't it does not make sense
DeleteWithout a villain there wouldn't be interesting villain to make problem
ReplyDeleteVillains have to be in story's or what's the point of being a superhero if there's not a bad guy I'll explain why there needs to be a villain in superhero story's.there has to be a villain because there needs to be drama and the hero needs a man to fight to show he's a superhero and to do that a good guy can not fight a good guy so he needs a villain to fight
ReplyDeleteMy 2 favourite villain is Ursula because from the little mermaid because I like how she talks because she sounds very evil.
ReplyDeleteIf I was a villain I will be the big bad wolf and I know that wolfs are bad but I will try and be a good wolf and try and not eat people grandmas and not even grandmas humans as well and I think if you still eat grandmas once in a while that is still bad well
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think?
Do you think that eating people's grandmas or even humans are bad well for my opinion I think that it is bad because even though that villains are bad and goodies are goodies still there always needs to be a villain in every fairy tale.
Well what do you think?
I what is your opinion?
I think that since washing the play BADDIES at the Unicorn Theatre I think that even though that goodies look good on the inside actually they are bad on the outside and I think that villains are bad on the outside but at the end they end up to be good, so if you see a fairy tale that has a goodie and a baddie and the goodie acts good and the baddies acts bad but actually the baddies are good in the inside and the goodies are bad in the inside.
ReplyDeleteWhat's your opinion?
Do you agree?
Do you think that baddies are good and goodies are bad?
What do you think?
Yes tarmari I do agree with you.
ReplyDeletei think all the baddies are getting good at the stories if they aren't not good they are going to kill other fairytales
ReplyDeletewhat do you think?
I think all baddies are good in stores because they make it more exciting. maybe they are forced to be bad.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite villain is malifacent from sleeping beauty and the reason I chose her is because she put aurora to sleep for 100 years and in my opinion is the worst crime somebody could ever commit.
ReplyDelete
