This pupil had between 30 and 50 coloured cubes. When she counted the cubes in fours, there were two cubes left over. When she counted them in fives, there was one cube left over.
I think that it's 81. Because she said that the pupil is 30 and 50 and she said that there was one left ofther so if you it makes 80 but there's one left ofther so it's 81.
I think David is correct when he said the answer is 46 because his calculations are accurate and the answer was 46.Because of when I worked it out it was right
I think it is 80 cubes

ReplyDeleteAaliyah's answer is closet so far because it fits with one of the clues. 36 divided by 5 is 7 with 1 remainder. Can anyone find the answer?
ReplyDeletei calculated it i found 41 and39
ReplyDeleteI think the answer is 46 because 46 divided by 4 equals 11 with 2 remaining and 46 divided by 5 equals 9 with 1 remaining.
ReplyDeleteIs David right Year 4?
DeleteI think David is right with the answer of 46 because if you calculate 46÷4=11r1 and if you do 46÷5=9r2.So well done David.
