When it rains the weather is still hot, that's how hot it is in the rain-forest. The rain-forest would be white if they reflected the visible colors of sunlight combined in equal proportions. They are green because the light they reflect has the purple color removed.
The reason why that Rain forest's are down south on google maps, is because in the north is where Antarctica is, and the climate temperature there is very low so it would be very hard trying to make plants grow there unless you have a poly tunnel under ground to absorb heat. Because Mexico is in South America, and it's very close to the equator and Brazil close to it as well so that makes Mexico and Brazil so hot that both countries are both and always consisting of various plants.
