  8. the main reasons why they built it Is because it was a place for protection for the kings and queens and for members of the royal family there will be 11 knights guarding the castle and stand there and fight until they die!

  9. Tudors built Castles because it was used as a fortress and a place to think of strategies and methods to attack the enemy which was France , at the time the King of France was King Francis , in French it means France. After the Tudors would attack the enemies with the best strategy they came up with and conquered many countries accept for Spain because the Spanish Armada conquered many aswell.

  11. The reason why it was built because the King and queen need to have a really royal palace they can't just go to a ordinary house and do nothing they need to something that they want to do.They also wanted to build a castle because some of there family members would join and come to the palace as well and in joy the time in the castle.

  14. Leeds castle was built in 1119 by Robert de Crevecoeur, descendant of one of William the Conqueror's Lords, to replace the earlier Saxon manor of Esledes. It passed in Royal hands in 1278 and became part of the Queen of England's dower-th settlement widowed queens received upon the death of their husbands.

  16. Did you know that the last owners of Leeds castle asked here children if they wanted the castle they said no because they don't need to live In a castle they can live in a manchion, and they just said Leeds castle can be for people to look around to enjoy but not to change it into a musium. Also people can stay and sleep at Leeds castle after a party or a wedding.Leeds castle was built because if a royal family was going war and it's like 10:00pm in the afternoon thay are tired so they can stay in a castle because they cant go to some weird house and sleep there and thay are a royal family so there rich they can buy everything.
