Fraction frenzy!


Find 1/10 of the numbers in the photo. Then explain what you notice about your answers.

Challenge 
"To find a tenth of a number I divide by 10 and to find a fifth of a number I divide by 5."
Do you agree? Explain your reasoning.

      I agree because when you are finding a fraction of a number, you divide by the denominator.

    All of the working out is 1,2,3,4 and 5 it goes in the 1 x tables to 5.
