Before half term Year 4 visited the Tower of London to learn all about the prisoners kept there during the Tudor times. 



What type of prisoners were kept in The Tower of London? How were their conditions different to prisoners kept outside of the prison?

Year 6 investigate blood vessels

Year 6 have been learning about the circulatory system and how it is made up of the heart, blood vessels and blood.

This week they investigated which substances could pass through different materials. This represented the crossing of substances in blood through blood vessel walls.


What is the function of blood? What are the different components of blood? Why do these components need to be able to travel through blood vessel walls?
